Personal background: Haji Muhammed Farhad Seddiqi, son of Haji Muhammed Rafiq, was born in 1969 in Parwan province. He is married with four daughters and two sons. His interests include reading and sports. He speaks Dari and English.

Education: Seddiqi completed his primary and began his secondary education at Tajrobawey High School, Parwan province. He completed high school in Kabul at the Ustad Betab High School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Kabul University, which he earned in 1995.

Previous occupation: Seddiqi worked as the head of Finance and Administration in the Department of Health in Parwan province for two years. He then worked in the Immigration Department as a manager for an additional two years. He has also served as a program officer for ACTED; Seddiqi is interested in business and owns a construction company that was registered in Kabul in 2003.

Other information: Seddiqi participated in the Constitutional Loya Jirga in 2003.
