Variety of issues were
discussed in today’s commissions
The
commission on immunity, privileges and MPs’ rights chaired by
Sharifullah Kamawal, early afternoon Tuesday.

The
session was attended by United Nations Development Program officials’(UNDP) who were invited for presenting of report
about cooperation of UNDP’s with Wolesi Jirga(Lower House of People)and each
parliamentarians presented their views in this regard .
Overall
in today’s session, parliamentarians submitted their questions about last five years budget of mentioned donor
and information was provided by UNDP officials which couldn’t get MPs’
satisfactions.
Moreover,
discussion took place in relation to communication’s problems and decision was
made that minister of communication including chairman for MTN Communication Company and technical
officials of mentioned company should be attend in next session to provide information
in this regard.
The commission on Telecommunication and Transportation chaired by Qais Hasan with the participation of officials of Brishna
Company early afternoon Tuesday.

In accordance to agenda, discussion took place in
relation to President’s legislative decree about arrangement of energy
services, and for further implementation the issue was postponed to the next
session.
Overall in today’s session, decision was made that an
envoy of Justice Ministry and technical officials of water and energy ministry
including officials of Brishna Company should attend in next session to provide
information in this regard.
The commission on Religious and Cultural Affairs,
Education and Higher Education presided by deputy of
commission Khalilullah Shahedzada,
early afternoon Tuesday.

The session was attended by publication chairman for of
ministry of information and culture, discussion took place in relation to released reports in some newspapers, after
exchanging of views, instruct was given to envoy of information and culture
ministry to assess the issue via commission for assessment of complaints and violations.
In recent, discussion took place in relation to received
letter and petitions and for further implementation was send to related organs.
In
the Commission on International Affairs session chaired by Muhammad Omir
Nangialay, the president # 82 legislative decrees relevant to the law of local
service was confirmed, and the president # 80 legislative decrees relevant to
the law of academic institute for making law and Scientifics’ investigation has
called off for the next session.

Finally, the received petition to the
commission was discussed and addressed to the concerned officials for
performance.
