Variety of issues were discussed in today’s commissions
|
In the Commission on Nomads, Tribal
Affairs session was held by Heidar Jan Nahimzai. The session had discussion
relevant to the following points:
1.
Protocol of fighting emigration traffics
though air and ground.
2.
SAARC convention regarding urgent
action against natural disasters.
3.
Adding 2 items in 5th
articles on the law of supervising ministries and state agencies.
4.
Transferring fiscal budget of the year 1393 to 1394 along predict changes
for the year 1394.
In addition, the international airport of Hamid
Karzai personnel’s- the air ports’ monitoring
major, Hafizullah Weteenpal, manger of second Archive ”VIP” Zhair Sadati-
were appreciated for their sicerity and good performance.
Finally, the received petition to the
commission was discussed and addressed to the concerned officials for
performance.
In the Commission on Disabled, Martyr’s
Dependants and Widows session was chaired by Muhammad Akbary, and according
to the agenda, Transferring fiscal budget of
the year 1393 to 1394 along predict changes for the year 1394, amended
of civil service bill, which was indorsed by the president’s legislative decree
# 82 put off for further discussion to
the next session.

In
addition, bill of scientists’ academic institute and agreement on countries
located on dried borders were confirmed after a wide discussion.
Finally, the received petition to the
commission was discussed and addressed to the concerned officials for
performance.
In the Commission on Health, Sports,
Youth, Labour and Worker session held by Mujib Rahman and the session had
discussion about amendment relevant to senior
officials salary, the representative of Paktika province , Abdul Qader’s
submitted petition regarding police hospital, petition of residents of Deh Sabz
District regarding pharmacy facilities.
In addition, the ministry of public health
regarding collecting addicts from the streets, constructing 5 dormitories in 5
provinces was delivered and it was confirmed by the session.
The commission on Defensive Affairs led by Ali Akbar
Qasmi, discussion took place in relation to law draft of higher education
military institutes which was approved by President’s legislative decree, after
discussion and presenting of views by experts of military affairs including
ministry of higher education and Justice, the suggested amendments for
mentioend law draft was send to the all commissions of Wolesi Jirga.
The commission on Finance and Budget presided by deputy
of commission Muhammad Azim Muhsini with the participation of chief of national
procurement in administrative affairs of
presidential and chief of laws for
justice ministry, discussion took place in relation to procurement law
and disputable articles of mentioned issue and for further evaluation was
postponed to the next session.
The commission on Women Affairs, Civil
Society and Human Rights chaired by Mrs. Fawzia Kofi with the participation of
minister of Haje and Religious Affairs, Minister of Women Affairs; director of
investigation for Ministry of Interior Affairs including police chief for Ghor
province and delegations for civil organizations, discussion took place in relation
to recent event in Ghor province.

In the outset of the session, Mrs. Kofi
spoke about stoning of young woman Rokhshna by Taliban in Ghor province and
called such action against Islam and humanity.
Overall in today’s session, decision was
made that attorney general including
member of supreme court and minister of interior affairs, chief of national directorate security and delegation for ministry of Haje and Religious
Affairs should be attend in next to provide information about killing of woman
in district eleven of Kabul city.
The commission on Legislative Affairs presided by Qazi
Nazir Ahmad Hanafi early afternoon Sunday.
In the outset of the session, discussion
took place in relation to adding of two articles of principles domestic duties
of Wolesi Jirga(Lower House of Parliament), after comprehensive discussion MPs
presented their views in this regard.
In recent, parliamentarians discussed in
relation to received letters and petitions and for further debate were send
related organs.
The commission on
Domestic Security, Borders’ Consolidation, National Security and Local
Administration chaired by secretary of commission Mrs.
Shikiba Hashimi early afternoon Sunday.

In the outset of the
session, comprehensive discussion took place in relation to the country’s
security condition and each one presented information about their provinces
security challenges and for solution of that necessary instruction was issued
to related organs.
The commission on International Affairs chaired by Muhammad
Omar Nangialai with the participation of minister of foreign affairs and deputy
minister for policy and strategy of interior ministry, discussion took place in
relation to security and defensive cooperation pact between Afghanistan and
United State of America (USA) including performances of joint commission for oversight of mentioned
issue.

In the outset of the session, minister of
foreign affairs provided information in relation to the issue including
activities of foreign affairs ministry in accordance to security and defensive
agreement.
Likewise, parliamentarians presented their questions about contract of
agreement and were answered by related officials.
Overall in today’s session, security deputy
for ministry of interior affairs presented information about providing of
facilities for Visa and issuing of
license for arms to the foreign
nationals in accordance to mentioned security pact between the two countries.
Moreover in today’s session, discussion took
place in relation to basic lines of politic and national strategic policy, MPs
asked officials of foreign ministry to send the draft of basic lines of politic
in order to further evaluation of that.
