President Ghani inaugurates annual session of the national assembly

The annual session of the national assembly was inaugurated by President Muhammad Ashraf Ghani here in Kabul Yesterday.

The ceremony were attended by  high ranking governmental officials including  second vice President  Muhammad Sarwar Danish, chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah,  Wolesi Jirga chairman Abdul Raouf Ibrahimi, chairman of Meshrano Jirga( Upper House) Fazil Hadi Muslimyar, both houses members, cabinet members, chief of supreme court, attorney general , foreigner ambassadors including a number of the country’s national figures.

Initially, chairman of Lower House Abdul Raouf Ibrahimi in his statement welcomed presence of President including the president’s deputy, chief executive and the cabinet members in today’s inauguration ceremony.

Likewise, the country’s security situation was called critical by  Ibrahimi  and  expressed his concern in relation to the terrorists threats in the country, added, in the next year the country’s security forces are facing with great defensive test in order to ensuring of security in the country.

Overall, the Wolesi Jirga chairman Abdul Raouf Ibrahimi emphasized for fair and transparent parliamentary election to be acceptable for all people.

Moreover, Ibrahimi pointed out  in relation to the intelligence war in the country, asked President Ghani to send the  country’s  basic lines of foreign policy to Wolesi Jirga in order to verification.

Likewise in today’s opening ceremony President Muhammad Ashraf Ghani in his statement prayed for the soul of all martyrs including the national assembly and the security forces martyrs, asked speedy recovery for injuries from the court of Almighty Allah.

Overall, President Ghani said, the country’s security forces are ready for defense of each terrorist’s threats in order to ensure of security in the country and hoped for better security condition in coming year.

Meanwhile, President Muhammad Ashraf Ghani pointed in relation parliamentary elections, added, he does not interfere in the elections process nor give anyone permission to interfere in electoral process, added, those who interfere in the electoral process will be punished and also he briefed for presidential elections in particular time.

Likewise, President Ghani pointed in relation to active of the twenty terrorists group in the country, added, these  terrorist groups has the same activities  like murder and killing of innocent people.

Overall, President Ghani asserted, the government definition is clear from friend and enemy, added, the government embrace  is open for those Taliban want to joint peace process and asked the youths to joint in peace process who have been deceived the regional intelligence.

Furthermore, President Muhammad Ashraf Ghani pointed in relation to the Brussels and Warsaw summits, added, the world community commitments has been taken for support of Afghanistan, he added, the national unity government(NUG)  has done a series infrastructural works  and some other development and infrastructural work is underway.

It is mentionable, the defense and territorial integrity commission administrative board elections were held under the interim chairmanship of Agha Jan.

Lawmaker Shaista Baz Naseri was candidate for the seat of the commission chairman and optioned the majority votes of confidence and elected as chairman of the commission.

Overall, in today’s administrative board polls Mrs. Simin Barekzai and Ali Akbari were candidates for the seat of deputy of commission, in result lawmaker Mrs. Simin Barakzai gained the majority votes of confidence and elected as a deputy of the commission, meanwhile lawmaker   Fathuallh Qaisari was elected as a secretary of the commission with the majority votes of confidence.
