were discussed in today’s commissions
The commission on International Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Helmand Helmand with the participation
of State Minister for Peace Affairs Salam Rahimi.
Initially, head of the commission said: peace is a
national process which has positive effect on people’s life and on the
country’s welfare and economy, so this is the right of people to know about
peace talks with government’s armed oppositions and creation of administration
under the name of (Peace Affairs), meanwhile people should know will had this
administration positive effect on peace process?.
Overall, State Minister for Peace Affairs Salam Rahimi
provided information in relation to activity and programs of the Peace Affairs
Ministry and significant advances for
Inter-Afghani talks.
People representatives presented their questions in
relation to composition of the negotiating board with government’s armed
oppositions, lack of common views and national consensus for peace process,
concerns for creation of administration under the name of peace and how
programs of this organ, finding of the war’s roots in Afghanistan, monitoring
mechanism after peace with Taliban and Taliban’s suggestion for creation of
interim government.

MPs questions.
The commission on Financial and Budget, General Accounts
and Banks Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Azim Muhseni
early afternoon the other day.
In accordance to agenda, discussion took place in
relation to evaluation of mid-year
budget 1398, meanwhile brief report was presented about main changes at the
mid-year budget and at the some parts of the ordinary and development budgets
including budgetary codes and MPs presented their views and suggestion in this
regard.
Overall, the session was attended by Ministers of Rural
Rehabilitation and Development, Higher Education, Education and Head of Da
Afghanistan Bank, they provided brief details in relation to development
projects and reduce at their administrations budget.
Commission
on Transport and Telecommunications chaired by Mohammad Akbar Sultanzade,
attended by the transport ministry’s technical deputy, technical and
professional director of civil organs and representative of urban ministry.
First, according to the agenda the commission took into
consideration Jalalabad Kuchi tribe’s petition related to their lands, which
comes under the ministry of transport plan. As a result, the ministry of transport’s
technical deputy committed to pursue the issue in a special session.
Next, the commission members scrutiny the petition of
Sirpul residences related to construction of
high-rise buildings in green area.
Then, the commission sent the issue to the attorney
general for further consideration.
Commission
on Natural Resources and Environment, chaired by Khan Mohammad Wardak and attended
by the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) deputy and technical team.
Initially,
the attended authorities explained their work plan, which was included
providing humanitarian services at a national and international level. Additionally,
the deputy of ARCS said the Afghan Red Crescent Society is a neutral entity and
attempt to attract volunteers who work in remote areas and cooperate with this
entity. ARCS attempt to help the needy
people via supporting programs.
Next, the commission
members raised their questions and it was decided the Afghan Red Crescent
Society (ARCS) must send all the resource list that get funding from them.
Then, the deputy of
Atomic Energy administration attended the session said “Atomic Energy
administration is important and has relations with all state administrations.
Unfortunately, there was not enough attention since establishing of this
authority.”
He indicated Atomic
Energy administration activates is included to provide security of mine and
customs, but due to luck of development and ordinary budget as well as lack of
administration formation created a lot of issues.
Finally, the commission
members requested the government to take serious consideration to the Atomic
Energy budget and the rest of the state entities should cooperate with the Atomic
Energy administration.
