The commission on National Economy, Agriculture and Livestock, Rural Development and Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) wash held under the chairmanship of Abdul Aziz Hakimi early afternoon the other day.

In accordance to agenda, discussion took place in relation to review of mid-year budget draft 1398 and views was presented on adjustments of public utility projects in Ministries of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Public works, Education and Water and Energy.

Based on decision of commission, MPs urged that financial and budget commission should be presence in a joint session in order to invite in-charges of the aforementioned ministries including chief of Brishna Company to provide details about the adjustments in mid-year budget draft 1398.

Overall in today’s session, MPs discussed and exchanged views on President’s legislative decrees in relation to annex mark (3) law on principles of commercial courts and add in some materials of law on principles of commercial courts, meanwhile a commission in order to review of the mentioned issue was created lead by Muhammad Hashim Khan, memberships Abdul Zaher Tamim and Fawzia Hameedi.

Likewise in today’s session, President’s legislative decree regarding to creation and integration of some governmental administrations was discussed and for further discussion it was postponed to the next session.

At the end of the session, members of the commission discussed and exchanged views in relation to creation of Inter-Parliamentary friendship committees between Afghanistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan and based on decision of the commission, lawmakers Muhammad Hashim Khan and Oma Ahmadi was introduced as members of the mentioned committee.

The commission on Financial and Budget, General Accounts and Banks Affairs was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Azim Muhsesin the other day.

In accordance to agenda, discussion took place in relation to review of mid-fiscal year budget 1398 meanwhile the inserted adjustments in this document was evaluated and problems of the development projects of some budgetary unites was shared with finance ministry.

The session was attended by finance deputy ministry with the Head of budget of the mentioned Ministry, MPs shared the problems and changes in document of the mid-year budget 1398, and information was provided by finance deputy ministry in this regard.

Overall in today’s session, decision was made that Finance Ministry as soon as possible should send the review of mid-year budget 1398 to Wolesi Jirga in order to evaluation of the changes which is occurred in the budget.

Commission on Religious and Culture Affairs session chaired by Ameergul Shahin, the session discussed about Supreme Court members, Abdullah Atai, Abdul Shakoor Mahjoor and Anisa Rasuli’s educational documents and dispatched to the house Administrative Board for further scrutiny.

Additionally, the commission members requested the state minister in parliamentary affairs to dispatch educational documents of some nominee ministers for scrutiny to the commission.

At the end, the Minister of Urban name amendment into the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development was taken into consideration and confirmed.

Commission on Health session chaired by Najeebullah Nasir and drift of 2019 mid-year fiscal budget was the main discussion points.
