Jirga called for peoples’ mobilization in support to security forces
The Lower House of Parliament on Monday’s plenary
session called for peoples’ mobilization in support to the country’s security
forces.
The session was held under the chairmanship of Mir
Rahman Rahmani and continued by second deputy of Wolesi Jirga, Najibullah Naser.
Initially, people representatives expressed their
concerns in relation to security condition throughout the country.
Pointing on fall of some districts into the Taliban
hand, MPs criticized for lack of good management in war and lack of access of
security and defensive forces to arms and equipment in specific time in battle fields.
At the meantime, a number of legislators criticized on
appointing of unprofessional of top
security officials at the security sectors, they says, this issue is one of the
main reason for fall of districts.
Despite of that,
members of the Nation House announced their support for the country’s security
forces and emphasized for peoples’ mobilizations in support to security forces.
Pointing on peoples’ uprising in a number of the
country’s provinces, MPs said, the Afghan people are ready for defence of the soil and system, so, military arms and equipment
should be provided for uprising people.
Overall in today’s session, the war geography change in
north of the country and lack of launching of airstrike on Taliban was called
questionable, MPs emphasized for war strategic change.
At the meantime, people representatives expressed their
concerns about increase of war in
Takhar, Faryab, Kunduz, Baghlan, Farah, Badghis, Jawzjan, Samangan, Paktia,
Daikundi and a few other provinces of the country, they underlined for peoples’
mobilization and cooperation with the country’s security forces for ensure of
security and defence from the country.
Moreover, parliamentary lawmakers expressed their
concerns over hundreds displaced families due to war, they asked related
officials to provide necessary aids to them.
At the meantime, MPs called for serious probe over
accusation of acting finance minister based on embezzlement of 8 million USD
dollar per day at the country’s customs.
MPs emphasized that if acting finance minister does not
disclose the identities of individuals and government officials who are in
involved in customs corruption, the manner of his accusation should be probed
and should be to introduce to attorney general office.
Overall in today’s session, assertions of Pakistan prime
minister about Durand Line and current war in Afghanistan strongly condemned by
MPs, they underlined for avoiding of such assertions.
The Wolesi Jirga chairman, Mir Rahman Rahmani appreciated
the peoples’ uprising in support to the country’s security forces and
emphasized for support of these forces by government.
Rahmani went on
to say, the war is intensified in the country and urged need is for serious
changes in war management and attention in appointing of professional persons
at the security sectors.
The House Speaker instructed to the relevant commission
to take serious steps with the coordination of charity organizations for aid to
domestic displaced families.
At the meantime, Rahmani emphasized for justly and fair
behaviour with martyrs of security forces, he instructed to related commission
to take serious measure in order to prevent from dual collision.
Moreover, the
House of Representatives Speaker expressed his concern in relation to outbreak
of the 3rd wave of Coronavirus, increase of casualties by this virus
and shortage of Oxygen at the governmental hospitals, he emphasized for
implementation medical advises.
At the meantime, the Wolesi Jirga second deputy
Najibullah Naser who continued the session in free debate about security and
peace, he asked defensive and security
commissions to share the MPs questions, suggestions and concerns with related
security officials
Overall, Naser asked the world community and other
countries involving in Afghanistan issue to support Afghanistan for reaching to
lasting peace.
In accordance to agenda, lawmaker Mamor Ahmadzai
presented report of the dispatched delegation to oversight from Pashdaran dam
of Herat province.
The report illustrates existence of defects at the some parts
of the work of the dam.
At the meantime, head of the domestic security
commission, Khan Agha Rezayee, presented the commission’s delegation report for
probe the protests of Badakshan residents.
